The Maple Heights Athletic Department would like to remind all students, families, and spectators of the expectations for attending our athletic events.

These expectations are in place to help maintain a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for everyone and will continue to be consistently enforced at all Maple Heights athletic events. Please review the information below regarding admission, student supervision, security procedures, and spectator conduct.


NOTE: Students are expected to remain in the bleachers/stands during the game. Students are not permitted to congregate or loiter underneath the bleachers, in the restrooms, lobby, concession areas, entrances/exits, or other non-spectator areas of the facility.

For the safety of everyone attending Maple Heights athletic events:

  • Everyone must pass through a metal detector before entering.
  • ALL bags are subject to search.
  • No bookbags or large purses/bags are permitted.
  • No outside food or drinks are permitted, including outside water bottles.
  • No weapons, drugs, alcohol, vapes, e-cigarettes, lighters or any other illegal or prohibited items.
  • Face masks or other items that conceal a person's identity are not permitted.
  • No re-entry is permitted.
  • Spectators must remain in their designated seating areas and may not cross between the Home and Visitor sides where separate seating areas are established.

NOTE: Event staff WILL NOT hold or store prohibited items, including bags, bottles, food, or drinks. Prohibited items must be discarded or returned to your vehicle before entering the event. Please plan accordingly before arriving.

Student & Spectator Conduct:

  • The Maple Heights City Schools Student Code of Conduct remains in effect at all school-sponsored athletic events.
  • ALL students and spectators are expected to demonstrate appropriate behavior, good sportsmanship, and respect toward players, coaches, officials, staff, and other spectators.
  • Profanity, fighting, threats, harassment, taunting, disruptive behavior, or throwing objects will not be tolerated.
  • ALL spectators must remain in designated areas and may not enter the playing surface, team areas, locker rooms, or other restricted areas.
  • ALL spectators must follow the directions of administrators, staff, and security personnel.
  • At the conclusion of the event, students and spectators must exit the facility and school grounds promptly. Loitering inside or outside the facility is not permitted.
  • Violations may result in removal from the event and additional consequences, up to and including permanent exclusion from all Maple Heights athletic events.

Parents/guardians are expected to appropriately supervise their children while attending athletic events.
